Doepfer - A-134-2 Dual VC Crossfader

The Doepfer A-134-2 is a dual voltage-controlled crossfader module designed for smooth morphing between two audio or CV signals. Each crossfader is essentially a pair of VCAs with opposite control characteristics, and both can be independently configured to respond to either bipolar or unipolar control voltages.

Using onboard jumpers, you can choose between:

• Symmetric Mode: Both channels are 50% open at 0V CV. Ideal for bipolar modulation sources like LFOs or joysticks.

• Asymmetric Mode: One channel is fully open and the other closed at 0V. Designed for unipolar CVs like envelopes or sequencers.

A normalization between the CV inputs allows both crossfaders to be controlled simultaneously from a single CV source—perfect for stereo applications or coordinated CV fades.
