The Doepfer A-130-8 V is a high-density voltage-controlled amplifier module featuring eight linear VCAs and three mix outputs, all within a slim footprint. This Vintage Edition sports a black faceplate and custom knobs.

Each VCA provides an input, output, and control voltage (CV) input, with adjustable CV sensitivity via a trim pot. By default, the CV range is 0 to +5V, but users can re-calibrate for different ranges if needed.

In addition to individual outputs, the module includes three mix outputs:

• 1–4: Sum of VCAs 1 to 4

• 5–8: Sum of VCAs 5 to 8

• 1–8: Sum of all eight VCAs

The amplification range for each VCA is 0 to 1, with slightly reduced gain at the mix outputs to prevent clipping.

The A-130-8 is fully DC-coupled, making it equally suitable for audio and CV signals. Normalisation of inputs can be configured via solder pads on the board, offering further flexibility in system integration.
