The A-121-2 brings the smooth, surgical precision of the Dark Energy series into the modular format. While it shares a name and a general functional layout with its predecessor, the internal architecture is entirely new. By moving away from the vintage CEM-based circuit, this module offers a more modern response and improved stability while maintaining the gritty, aggressive character that defines the classic multimode sound.

The module is designed for parallel signal processing, offering four simultaneous outputs for Low Pass, High Pass, Band Pass, and Notch filtering. This allows you to route different frequency bands of the same source to various parts of your system, creating complex stereo images or layered textures. With its 1V/Octave tracking and the ability to enter self-oscillation at high resonance settings, the A-121-2 can also double as a stable sine wave oscillator for melodic use or FM modulation.
