Mutes Mk2 builds on the functional legacy of the original design by replacing vactrols with high-speed VCA circuits. This change eliminates the sluggishness of traditional optical components while maintaining a smooth, pop-free transition. It handles everything from high-speed clock bursts and triggers to full-range audio signals without bleeding or signal degradation.

The interface centers on four durable three-way toggle switches. You can latch a signal on, kill it entirely, or flick the switch down for momentary bursts. Because the inputs cascade from top to bottom, the module acts as a buffered mult as well as a mute. Patching a single clock into input one allows you to manually play four different rhythmic variations across your system using the toggles. It excels as a performance interface for jumping in and out of effects loops or manually gating modulation sources during a set.
