Dannysound Timbre is a modern reinterpretation of the wavefolder circuit from the Buchla 259 and Easel, designed to add rich harmonic content to otherwise pure waveforms. It's especially effective with sine or triangle waves, transforming them into complex, textured tones.
The module features two audio inputs with a mix control for blending or attenuating, offering both traditional wavefolding and more chaotic results when using parallel input signals. Timbre intensity can be modulated via CV with a dedicated bipolar attenuator, while the symmetry control shifts the input bias to influence folding behaviour dynamically.
Perfect when paired with the Dannysound Cali or EN129 oscillators, Timbre adds sonic depth and character to any subtractive or experimental signal chain.
