Clank’s Uranograph is a deeply original performance instrument that merges futuristic synthesis, custom tunings, live looping, and tactile expression into one beautifully strange device. With dual stainless steel touchplates that respond to both velocity and pressure, this is an instrument that invites you to play with nuance, shaping tones with gestures rather than menus.

The additive phase-morphing sound engine is as unconventional as the interface itself. Tilt, Size, and Fold parameters morph basic waveforms into everything from warm harmonic drones to noisy, metallic chaos. Though technically monophonic, the clever 5-voice system includes a three-voice harmonizer and sub-oscillator, offering rich chordal textures.

Where Uranograph really breaks the mould is in its approach to microtonality. With over 50 built-in tunings and the ability to assign any frequency to any key, you’re no longer bound by Western scales.
