BLANK EXPRESSION is a new free experimental live concert series hosted at Schneiders Keller.

There are no pre-prepared patches and no presets. Artists step up to a completely blank rig and build a performance entirely from scratch, directly in front of the audience. The evening features two dynamic sets separated by a short interlude.

Following the performances, the floor opens up for an interactive session. You will have the opportunity to explore the patches up close and chat directly with the performers about their patch architecture, creative choices, and sound design philosophies in a warm, intimate atmosphere.

Whether you are a seasoned electronic producer, a modular synthesis enthusiast, or simply curious about live sound design, this is an event you won't want to miss.

About the performers:

AM sin - London-based duo AM sin create immersive electroacoustic soundscapes through modular synthesis, live vocal processing and audiovisual performance, moving between dark ambient, industrial, drone and experimental electronics.

Begg - Schneiders Keller's head honcho, Begg knows the shop systems well and will be building on a year and half of prepping patches in the shop.
