TRS 1U serves as the primary physical bridge for getting signals into and out of your system without cluttering your patch with long cables. Designed specifically to interface with the rear jack connectors of the Befaco 7U case and other Intellijel-compatible enclosures, this module converts internal case wiring into accessible front-panel patch points. The bidirectional architecture means the channels are not fixed; you can use them as inputs from external synthesizers or as outputs to your studio monitors and audio interfaces.

The module excels at flexible signal routing by utilizing the Tip, Ring, and Sleeve of each jack independently. By employing Y-splitter cables, you can configure the module to act as a four-channel mono input/output bank or as two stereo pairs. It also supports TRS insert configurations, allowing you to route modular signals out to external pedals or rack effects and back into the system through a single front-panel jack.

To ensure your signals play well with non-modular gear, the circuit includes selectable passive attenuators for both the tip and ring of each channel. These allow you to scale hot Eurorack voltages down to safer line levels before they reach your external mixers or converters.
