Pedal S/R eliminates the technical hurdles of patching external hardware into a modular environment. Because Eurorack signals are significantly hotter than the signals expected by guitar pedals or studio rack units, the Send section of this module acts as a precision step-down stage. Using the dedicated toggle switch, you can instantly attenuate your modular audio to either standard Line level or a lower Instrument level, preventing the input distortion and clipping that typically occurs when driving pedals directly from an oscillator or VCA.

The Return section handles the heavy lifting of boosting those weak external signals back up to Eurorack's +/-5V standard. To preserve the intended character of your gear, the return input features a switchable Hi-Z (High Impedance) mode. This is essential for vintage-style fuzz, drive, and wah circuits that rely on specific impedance loading to maintain their frequency response and dynamic feel. An integrated volume control allows you to dial in the perfect gain staging, backed by a multi-segment LED meter that provides real-time feedback on your return signal strength.

The module is designed for clean studio integration. While it works perfectly as a standalone 1U interface, it also features internal headers compatible with the rear jack boards found in Befaco 7U and Intellijel cases. This allows you to route your sends and returns through the large 6.35mm jacks on the back of your enclosure, keeping long instrument cables away from your front-panel knobs and ensuring a more stable connection for live performance.
