The Bastl Instruments Citadel is a dual-personality Eurorack module that packs two completely different instruments into a single 16HP unit. It’s a reimagining of the beloved Kastle 2 in modular form — and comes preloaded with the FX Wizard mode, but can be flipped into Wave Bard, a stereo sample player, by reversing the faceplate and switching firmware (tools included).

FX Wizard:

A nine-mode stereo effects processor with built-in modulation for shaping time, pitch, and amplitude.
Choose from three effect families:

• Delay: delay, flanger, freezer

• Amplitude: panner, crusher, slicer

• Pitch: pitcher, replayer, shifter

Use the built-in LFO, pattern generator, or envelope follower to modulate each effect in real time — this is not your average multi-FX.
