Animal Factory Godeater Module

The Godeater from Animal Factory Amps is a crown jewel of Eurorack distortion, delivering ferocious saturation and punishing compression while retaining deep, earth-shaking bass. Designed from the ground up (not based on any vintage circuit), the Godeater is the ideal module for sonic destruction — whether you're mangling basslines, drum hits, or anything in between.

Aditya from Animal Factory calls it a “fuzztortion,” and it lives up to the name. Thanks to its unique gain structure and extremely musical EQ, the Godeater saturates audio without sacrificing punch or low-end power. The result is distortion that sounds massive and focused — never fizzy or weak.

The module features an input level control and high-pass filter, two clipping stages (with symmetrical/asymmetrical options), a tone section, and a dry/wet mix via the Zeus control and Disgorge switch. A 10-pin connector on the back supports future expanders.

Controls

• Demeter: Input volume — higher settings increase distortion

• Hera: High-pass filter — turn fully CCW for rich low-end, CW for thinner fuzz

• Poseidon: Gain stage control — more compression and saturation

• Clipping switches: Choose symmetrical diodes, asymmetrical LEDs, or bypass

• Hades: Low-end emphasis — turn up for deep, heavy bass

• Hestia: Tone shaping

• Zeus: Final output level or dry/wet mix when Disgorge switch is engaged
