The Pip Slope (rev II) by ALM Busy Circuits is a compact yet powerful envelope and function generator, perfect for small systems where space is at a premium but control and flexibility still matter. Occupying just 4HP, it delivers everything from snappy percussion envelopes to cycling modulation curves, with plenty of shaping options in between.
It supports both AD (Attack/Decay) and ASD (Attack/Sustain/Decay) envelope modes, with voltage control over Attack and Decay times for dynamic modulation. The envelope shape control morphs smoothly between exponential, linear, and logarithmic curves, giving you expressive control over contour and response.
One of Pip Slope’s standout features is its looping mode, which can be set to run infinitely or taper off in amplitude or rate — ideal for echo effects or “bouncing ball” behaviours. The End of Cycle (EOC) trigger output makes it easy to chain envelopes, clock sequencers, or create rhythmic bursts and fills.
This revised version improves on the original with higher output resolution, more refined control over fast envelopes, switchable max voltage (5V or 8V), and two new loop modes. It also adds an additional trigger output, expanding its use as a modulation hub within your patch.
Whether you need a compact envelope source, looping modulator, or precise shape control in a small footprint, Pip Slope (rev II) punches well above its weight.
