ALM Busy Circuits MCO MKII

The ALM Busy Circuits MCO MKII is a powerful 6HP digital oscillator packed with seven distinctive sound engines and a wide range of features inspired by the golden age of digital synthesis. A full redesign of the original MCO, the MKII introduces a high-resolution color display, four-note polyphony, dual outputs, and expanded modulation capabilities.

Each of the seven synthesis engines is carefully crafted to deliver a particular flavor of 90s–2000s digital sound:
• DigiWave for wavetable synthesis (with user upload support)
• ToneSum for 12-operator additive synthesis
• BC8000 emulating classic JP8000-style tones
• Virtana offering virtual analog character
• Sylon for vocoder textures
• Oomph tailored for kicks and sub-bass
• SID delivering nostalgic chip sounds

You can select between built-in chord voicings or define your own custom chords, making it easy to build rich harmonic content straight from a single module. Three CV inputs allow for expressive modulation, and the audio-rate modulation input supports FM, sync, and more. Built-in envelopes and LFOs add further flexibility.

MCO MKII is USB-C enabled for firmware updates and wavetable import, and is compatible with the Axon-1 expander for extended CV control.
