ALM Busy Circuits TAZM-O

TAZM-O is ALM's first analog oscillator – a versatile, 12HP sound source drawing inspiration from vintage giants like the Roland SH-101 and Serge's legendary NTO. It brings classic tone-shaping features together with modern CV control and powerful FM options.

At its core, TAZM-O offers continuous waveform morphing – seamlessly blending between sine, triangle, saw and pulse shapes, just like the NTO. Add CV to scan waveforms dynamically. The SH-style sub outputs deliver two different pulse sub-octaves, ideal for beefing up basslines or adding weight to leads.

Where TAZM-O goes deeper is in its Thru-Zero Frequency Modulation (FM), with a built-in CV-controllable FM Index VCA for animated, metallic textures and dynamic harmonic control. A voltage-controlled internal VCA and octave transpose circuit (borrowed from Akemie’s Castle) make it equally suited for self-contained FM voices or complex modular patching.
