Precision Voltages does two jobs and does them properly. First, it provides a highly stable calibration voltage. The dedicated Cal output stays accurate to less than 1 mV over a 20 V range, which translates to roughly one cent across 20 octaves. If you calibrate VCO scaling, this gives you a trustworthy reference point without guesswork.

Second, it acts as a precise voltage adder and offset generator. The module has two channels, A and B. Each channel lets you add or subtract full volt increments for octave shifts, or 1/12 V increments for semitone steps. This makes it easy to transpose a sequence up a fifth, drop a bass line an octave, or dial in exact pitch intervals without touching oscillator tuning.

In daily use, it solves practical problems. Add a stable offset to a sequencer that runs slightly flat. Introduce switchable octave jumps to a VCO that only offers coarse and fine tuning. Correct small scaling mismatches between oscillators. Because the increments are fixed and accurate, changes remain musical and predictable.

The Mix output expands routing options. You can take channel A on its own, or use the three way toggle to add or subtract channel B relative to A. This sits on top of the per channel addition and subtraction controls, allowing layered transposition and interval stacking from a compact module.

Precision Voltages does not colour the signal. It keeps your pitch CV stable, exact and repeatable. In systems where tuning matters, it quickly becomes essential.
