Supercritical Neutron Filter

The Neutron Flux Filter by Supercritical Synthesizers is a digitally controlled analog stereo filter that redefines what a filter can be in Eurorack. Whether you're after creamy vintage warmth or razor-sharp modern resonance, the Neutron Flux adapts with a twist of its digital brain and analog heart.

At its core, this powerful module features two four-pole filter circuits, which can run as a true stereo filter, a dual-mono filter with stereo animation, or a chained eight-pole mono filter for ultra-steep slopes reminiscent of lowpass gates. And while it's all analog signal path, the Neutron Flux is digitally controlled, allowing for incredible character switching, CV modulation, and filter morphing capabilities that analog-only designs simply can’t match.

Choose from five filter characters, each with unique responses—ranging from classic ladder-style warmth to clean surgical precision. A Drive circuit with two gain ranges and an Overload mode offers everything from subtle saturation to aggressive distortion. Engage Stereo Spread to create complex spatial effects by offsetting the cutoff frequencies of the left and right filters—transforming mono signals into wide, moving stereo textures without traditional delay or chorus tricks.

Everything is CV controllable, including Cutoff, Resonance, Character, Stereo Spread, and Drive, making the Neutron Flux a modulation dream. From traditional filtering to wild stereo animation, this filter is a playground for both subtle tone shaping and extreme sound mangling.
