CON is a quad gain converter that bridges the level gap between modular systems and external audio gear. It boosts two line level signals up to modular level, and attenuates two modular signals back down to line level.

The circuit focuses on clean gain rather than coloration. It avoids distortion while preserving transients, so percussive sounds and fast edges stay intact. This makes it useful for guitars, synthesizers, drum machines, and portable devices, as well as for routing modular voices back into mixers, interfaces, or pedals.

In practice, CON works as a utility you patch once and rely on. Use it to bring external instruments into your rack at proper levels, or to send modular signals out without clipping or noise. A rear jumper selects between x5 and x11 gain, so you can match the input stage to the source. Lower gain suits strong line signals and hot synth outputs. Higher gain supports weaker sources like single coil guitars or mobile devices.
